I disagree with you! We being from the USA, can basically adopt from where ever we desire. Children from the Azores have been adopted into the USA for decades...I am one of them

My husband and I are also looking into adopting from the DRC but it's hard to find any info relevant to Canadians, especially the cost. Please keep me informed of your journey

our agency required us to complete a training course through Heart of the Matter Seminars. The one we did was a multiple part session that was maybe $150, but it was good. Last adoption, we did some courses through Adoption Learning Partners and I think it was free (that was in 04/05).
